With only ACC games from here on out, Pitt will continually be forced to produce an injury report in advance of the remainder of their games. The Panthers released the report today and the biggest news is that cornerback Avonte Maddox is doubtful (upper extremity injury) for the upcoming contest against Virginia. Maddox is just the latest player to suffer an injury for the Panthers.
Maddox was injured in last week's game and, as JD wrote about earlier this week, that could mean we see true freshman Damar Hamlin in action. Hamlin is no lock to start or even play, but if Maddox can't go, that makes it more realistic we see him.
