Former Pitt defensive lineman Dewayne Hendrix signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League on Friday. The move will see Hendrix join his fourth team and fourth league since the start of 2020.
The 6’4”, 270-pound lineman last played in the Spring League for the Alphas, and before that, he had brief stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL and with the St. Louis BattleHawks of the XFL. Hendrix’s stop in St. Louis was his most productive, as he accrued four tackles, including one sack and one tackle for a loss, and one quarterback hurry in five games.
