Pitt running back Darrin Hall had some kind of game on Saturday in the Panthers’ win over Duke. On Monday, he was named the ACC’s Offensive Back of the Week.
Hall rushed 24 times for 254 yards and three touchdowns. Even when running backs have big weeks, they can still miss out on the award because it includes quarterbacks. But Hall’s day was too big to ignore.
In racking up the yardage, he had two long runs of 79 yards and 92 yards - the latter being a school record.
Pitt may have found its running back after the running game has struggled most of the year.
