Former Pitt star and longtime NFL standout Darrelle Revis signed a two-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs last Wednesday, putting an end to months of uncertainty over his future in the league.
Although he did not take part in his new team's matchup with the Buffalo Bills this Sunday, he will take the field next week against his former team, the New York Jets, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The Jets released Revis on March 9, two years into the cornerback’s second stint with the team that drafted him out of Pitt in 2007.
