Curtis Aiken to be inducted into 2017 ACC Legends Class

Eventually (hopefully, anyway), Pitt will have been an ACC member long enough so that the annual ACC Legends Class inductee actually played in the ACC. We're not there yet, however.

This year's ACC Legends Class inductee from Pitt is former player and current broadcaster Curtis Aiken. A lot of younger Pitt fans might not realize that Aiken was one of the program's best players. He scored 1,200 points in his Pitt career and was one of the team's top guards in the 1980s.

Here's his official bio as released by the ACC:

Curtis Aiken, Pitt (1983-87) - Aiken finished his career with 1,200 points in 120 career games (82 starts), while helping the Panthers to 75 wins and four postseason appearances.
