Pitt's football team pulled out a narrow win over Georgia Tech on Saturday and a couple of Panthers were later recognized by the ACC for their play in the game.
Senior kicker Chris Blewitt was named the ACC Specialist of the Week. He had a career-high 13 points on three field goals and four PATs. And while his last field goal (a 31-yarder to win the game as time expired) was a close call, he didn't miss a single kick all day long.
Offensive tackle Brian O'Neill provided protection for quarterback Nathan Peterman and helped Pitt to 407 yards of total offense.
