Pitt forward Sheldon Jeter missed the team's game against Florida State as he was placed into Pitt's concussion protocol. The Panthers won the machup and after the game, head coach Jamie Dixon updated the media on Jeter's status.
Per Paul Zeise of the Post-Gazette, it sounds as if the injury was sustained in practice. The good news? It sounds like he's feeling better and might not miss any more time:
The Panthers played without Sheldon Jeter (concussion) and Dixon said he is in the "concussion protocol program" and then remarked Pitt is "tops in the country and the originators" in concussion research.
