Thirteen months ago, Pitt landed a pledge from Brandon Honorable, a promising offensive tackle out of Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Detroit. But on Wednesday, he signed a letter of intent with Western Michigan after backing off his commitment to Pitt earlier in the week.
The move was somewhat expected, as the 6’7”, 280-pound offensive tackle’s name was conspicuously missing during Pitt’s signing day festivities in December. However, what was unclear was where he might end up.
At the time of his commitment, Honorable held offers from a number of Power Five programs, including Indiana, Iowa State, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue, Syracuse and Tennessee.
