Former Pitt guard Brad Wanamaker has been plying his trade overseas since leaving Oakland in 2011. And after posting some of the best numbers of his career with Darussafaka in Istanbul last season, he took his talents across town to Fenerbahce, where he’s now enjoying another excellent campaign and racking up accolades in the process.
Over the weekend, the EuroLeague named Wanamaker its Round 19 MVP for his performance against Fenerbahce’s crosstown rival Anadolu Efes on Friday. In that game, Fenerbahce earned its fourth consecutive EuroLeague win, edging Anadolu Efes 89-84, and Wanamaker contributed one of his best performances of the season.
