I’ve been trying to get to some of the odds for Pitt’s basketball games in the non-conference season but just haven’t had time to. Plus, the Panthers were expected to win a good bit of them, so it wasn’t too important, anyway.
One line that’s a little intriguing is for Pitt’s next game, though. The Panthers will face Towson and are three-point underdogs.
Towson is 10-2 but I’m also wondering just how good they are. They haven’t really beaten anybody and their two losses came on the road to Old Dominion and a 7-5 Oakland team. In addition, they’ve also got several close wins, including a three-point victory against Georgia Southern, a one-point win against a bad Manhattan team, and a four-point win over Morgan State, who is 4-5.
