This weekend, Pitt faces a ranked North Carolina State team this weekend and, as you would expect, the Panthers are significant underdogs.
The opening line has the Wolfpack as ten-point favorites in the matchup. Pitt gets the game at home but even with that convenience, it’s difficult to believe they’ll be able to win this one. Upsets happen, of course, but Pitt has been easily handled by the better teams they’ve faced this year.
As if that wasn’t enough, the Panthers are also missing starting quarterback Max Browne.
Add it all up, and it’s easy to see why the Panthers are double-digit underdogs.
