Colleague Chris Low identified the 10 toughest nonconference schedules in the country earlier this month, and Pitt’s topped the list. For a second straight season, the Panthers set themselves up with a difficult early nonconference stretch that includes back-to-back games against Power 5 opponents.
Toughest three-game stretch: Sept. 9-23 (at Penn State, vs. Oklahoma State, at Georgia Tech)
Those three games qualify as one of the hardest stretches over the course of any part of the season and not just limited to the nonconference.
