The ACC begins its spring meetings in Amelia Island, Florida, on Monday with plenty to discuss. Among the main conversation points:
Recruiting: Last month, the NCAA Division I Council passed sweeping recruiting reforms, including an early signing period (set for Dec. 20-22), the addition of official spring visits, the addition of a 10th assistant, and limits on hiring individuals with ties to recruits. Miami athletic director Blake James is the council chair, and let’s just say he expects to hear from the coaches during the meetings -- because many are against pieces of the legislation that passed.
