Max Browne, USC transfer- The former No. 1 ranked high school quarterback in the country did not hold on to the starting position last season at USC when he finally got his chance, but that may not be as bad as it sounds. A slow start by the team (1-2 record, which included road games against Alabama and Stanford), compelled the Trojans to make a switch, and when they did they found freshman phenom Sam Darnold. That was the end of Browne in USC. But Browne really hasn't had the chance to be the man over an entire season.
