Zion Williamson was seeking payback on Phoenix after a blowout road loss to the Suns in December.
"They got the better of us in the first matchup of the season," Williamson said before Wednesday's game at Smoothie King Center. "Left a bad taste in our mouths. We want to come out and get a different result."
Williamson did his part to make sure New Orleans won the rematch.
Scoring 15 of his game-high 28 points in the first quarter, the second-year phenom forward led the Pelicans to a 123-101 win over the Suns that put an abrupt end to Phoenix's three-game winning streak.
