Eric Bledsoe was only 23 years old when he arrived in Phoenix via trade two years ago. Somehow, he still wound up being one of the older voices in the Suns’ backcourt. Combined, three of his backups – Kendall Marshall, Ish Smith and Jerel McNeal – carried less NBA experience than he did even at that time.
Phoenix’s front office tabbed veteran experience as one of the team’s offseason needs. They supplied it to Bledsoe and the other Suns perimeter players in the form of veteran guard Ronnie Price and new assistant coach Earl Watson.
Head Coach Jeff Hornacek knows them well.
