New Suns point guard Elfrid Payton is one of only three NBA players averaging at least 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists per game since the trade deadline, when he was acquired by the Suns for a second round pick.
Among the three, Payton has by far the highest FG percentage (57%) and three point percentage (50%).
These averages include a triple double, the first for a Phoenix Suns player in a year (Eric Bledsoe). This was Payton’s 9th career triple double. Only six NBA players have more triple-doubles since Payton entered the league in the 2014-15 season.
