Over the last two seasons for the Phoenix Suns, regression has happened instead of progression towards becoming a competitive team. Devin Booker has yet to see the Suns eclipse 25 wins in his first four years with the organization.
However, under the direction of new GM James Jones and head coach Monty Williams, the change in the air finally seems palpable. Not only has more respect been brought aboard in the Valley, but Jones’ first summer on the job saw him rework the roster on the fly.
Outside of Booker, Deandre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, and Elie Okobo, nobody remains from last year’s opening night victory against the Dallas Mavericks.
