October is Bullying Prevention Awareness Month, and the Suns’ Tyson Chandler is using his voice to speak out by recognizing he, too, could have done more to impact this unfortunate reality for kids everywhere.
In a guest piece for The Players’ Tribune, Chandler reflected on a time in elementary school when he witnessed bullying. He never joined in, but he regretfully admitted he didn’t do anything to stop it.
It was terrible. I would never join in, but I never said anything. Sometimes I’d laugh along with everybody else. They would just stand there and take it, never saying anything.
