MIAMI – Finally.
The Phoenix Suns snapped a franchise-record, 17-game losing skid with an 124-121 victory Monday night over Miami at American Airlines Arena.
Devin Booker hit two free throws with 17.3 seconds left to put Suns ahead for good as he finished with a team-high 20 points. Seven players scored in double figures for Phoenix (12-51).
Then Deandre Ayton, off the switch, forced Dwyane Wade into a tough fadeaway shot that misfired. Kelly Oubre got the rebound, was fouled and made two free throws with 2.1 seconds left.
