Phoenix Suns coach Igor Kokoskov talks about the role of Troy Daniels going into Saturday's game against Denver. Duane Rankin, Arizona Republic
Coach Igor Kokoskov knows Troy Daniels can be lethal.
"Born to assassinate," Kokoskov said. "His range — as soon as he steps on the court, that's his range."
A sixth-year guard, Daniels has played in 19 of the Suns' 43 games this season, with the bulk of that coming in the last six weeks. It's a smaller role than last year, Daniels' first season with the Suns, where he averaged about 21 minutes over 79 games.
