To Keep or Not To Keep: The Case for Keeping T.J. Warren

In 2014, the Phoenix Suns selected T.J. Warren, an old fashioned scorer out of North Carolina State with the 14th overall pick. Many loved the old school, more traditional scorer, who took the ACC by storm his sophomore season averaging 25 points per game on 52.5 % shooting. Unfortunately for Suns fans, Warren has yet to average 25, or even 20 points per game, in his short career. However, this does not mean that he was a bust at all. To his detriment, Warren has simply lacked the opportunity to put up points at times.

With the debate over whether or not small forward Josh Jackson should be Phoenix’s pick in June, here’s why the rebuilding Suns need to re-sign Warren and make sure is a piece of the future, regardless of who they draft.
