The Phoenix Suns almost beat San Antonio Spurs Monday night on what would have been the most dramatic ending of the season. Alas, Devin Booker‘s (perhaps slightly ill-advised, but Booker shot it so it immediately becomes advised) deep 3-pointer in the closing seconds fell off the mark and the Suns took their seventh one-possession loss of the season.
Two of the losses have come at the hands of the Spurs, the first being the frustrating defeat in Mexico City earlier in the year.
Luckily, the Suns get a chance at redemption tonight, just four days after that near-win.
