Most days, the two 75-year-old artists arrive at their small studio just off Main Street in Scottsdale in the mornings. They take seats in their respective sides of the room and get lost in their work, although they don’t call it that.
They tease, critique and encourage each other until mid-afternoon, when usually it dawns on one of them that hours have passed.
