Wednesday’s contest between the Phoenix Suns and Oklahoma City Thunder saw a few stars out.
Prior to tipoff, Kevin Durant injured his ankle during warmups. On the Thunder’s side, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was out due to rest.
Even without Durant, the Suns were able to show in closing time what they were capable of. Devin Booker was able to put on another masterpiece, helping lead Phoenix to a 132-101 win over Oklahoma City.
Booker for MVP
There’s no telling where Booker would be in the MVP race if not for his unfortunate groin injury.
