Part of the appeal of the Suns’ rebuilt roster is the supposed depth it offers. Some of it already has shown up through four games.
Small forward T.J. Warren, the team’s first-round pick a year ago, has averaged 9.3 points and 4.0 rebounds in just more than 20 minutes a game off the bench. Power forward Jon Leuer has pulled in 6.5 boards and scored 7.5 points per game in even less playing time, and point guard Ronnie Price has chipped in 5.5 points per game while playing more often than anticipated.
But missing from that roll call are two of the bigger bench additions the Suns made in the offseason – shooting guard Sonny Weems and power forward Mirza Teletovic.
