There is no shortage of resources when it comes to evaluating NBA prospects. Hours upon hours of game film are readily available. Reviews from individuals are a phone call away. Scouting reports are filled out in painstaking detail.
One big blank remains, however, until the final month leading up to the draft: in-person interviews with the prospects themselves.
This final step is, in the end, one of the most valuable steps in deciding who the Suns will draft. Why? Because Player X the person is just as important as Player X the player.
Finding out the latter, according to Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough, is much easier to do than the latter.
