With revamped uniforms, a home court redesign and a new marketing campaign, the Phoenix Suns are dedicated to bringing back good vibes heading into the 2015-16 season.
In another move of happy nostalgia, the team announced it will be holding an intrasquad scrimmage at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, a.k.a. “The Madhouse On McDowell.”
These scrimmages are usually open to the public at the end of Suns training camp in Flagstaff, but because of a scheduling conflict with Northern Arizona University’s football game on Oct. 3, the Suns will be returning to the arena where the franchise played from its inaugural season in 1968-69 until 1992-93, when the team moved to its current location downtown.
