While many NBA fans may be unfamiliar with Yuta Tabuse, plenty of BSOTS readers will know the name. Tabuse is the first Japanese-born player to appear in an NBA game, and he did so for your Phoenix Suns.
Tabuse’s tenure in the league lasted just four games in 2004, but his career in professional basketball still continues today. The “Michael Jordan of Japan” is a point guard for Utsunomiya Brex of the B.League in his home country.
I can’t say how rare this bobblehead is, but you can’t think many exist.
