An electric finish by Devin Booker gave the Suns a two-point win over the Grizzlies on Sunday. It was a win the now 2-7 Suns were desperate for, snapping a seven-game losing streak. It also temporarily distracted from some other problems.
The team had 25 turnovers, which led to 33 points by the Grizzlies. And the questions at point guard still linger.
In 30-plus minutes against the Grizzlies, point guard Isaiah Canaan logged 13 points and just two assists. He also had five fouls, struggling at times to contain the Grizzlies on defense.
A nine-game sample size is small, but right now, the offense is still resorting to running through Booker when needed.
