The Suns have agreed on a four-year contract extension with small forward T.J. Warren, said General Manager Ryan McDonough.
The contract, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, is worth $50 million over four years.
McDonough said the deal will start in the 2018-2019 season.
Warren averaged career highs in points (14.4) and rebounds (5.1) last season. After the All-Star break and the trade of small forward P.J. Tucker to Toronto, he averaged 17.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
At media day Monday, the Suns raved about Warren’s play in five-on-five pickup games this summer, with General Manager Ryan McDonough saying Warren had been “one of the team’s best players.
