The Suns moved fast Monday morning in firing General Manager Ryan McDonough, and it seems owner Robert Sarver is not slowing down.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN is reporting that Sarver is likely to hire interim general manager James Jones as full-time general manager.
Jones had previously been serving as of Vice President of Basketball Operations, until Sarver moved him and Trevor Bukstein to share general manager duties in the interim.
Wojnarowski reported that "In his initial conversations around the league, Sarver has left little, if any, doubt that Jones will be leading Phoenix's basketball operations into the future.
