The Phoenix Suns had a very long practice this morning — much longer than usual — going over some of the things they struggled with in last night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets.
“A lot of cleanup when it comes to us keeping guys accountable especially on the defensive end,” head coach Igor Kokoskov said, describing the long practice. “We have to clarify and simplify our defensive coverage. Nothing new, but just making sure that we understand our responsibilities in our defensive coverage and we can get better.”
Despite the loss, Josh Jackson stepped up big for the Suns after Devin Booker left the game early in the second quarter with back spasms and never returned.
