Suns' offseason roster moves look to help target areas

The Suns were 28-20 at one point last season before disharmony, trades and injuries sent them sputtering to 11 wins in the final 34 games.

Between the perspective of last season as a whole and seeing this Suns group assemble a month before the start of training camp, Suns coach Jeff Hornacek and others can see the difference between this team’s playoff chances and where last season went awry.

Suns guard Brandon Knight rattles off four clear areas for improvement – balance, experience, shooting and defense. The optimism grows when confidence and cohesion is added.

“Both Ryan (McDonough, Suns general manager) and I believe that this could be a very good team,” Hornacek said.
