JaVale McGee verbally committed to joining the Phoenix Suns while he was in Tokyo competing for the gold medal for Team USA. Since then there has been radio silence as details surrounding the terms of that commitment were discussed.
That changed on Monday when news came down that McGee had officially signed with the Phoenix Suns.
JaVale is entering his 14th season in the NBA. The veteran center should bring stability to the second-team front court and will provide much needed size behind Deandre Ayton.
McGee, who makes Phoenix his eighth NBA team, averaged 7.
