DALLAS – Over the past week, the Suns have gotten a boost from their oldest guard, Leandro Barbosa, 34 years old and still providing energy off the bench.
“He’s a professional scorer,” Suns coach coach Earl Watson said before Thursday’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks. “He’s one of the best to do it since I’ve been in the league, and he’s done it for a long time at a high level. He has three things that he’s mastered offensively, and you can’t take away all three in one possession.”
Barbosa had a nice stretch at the beginning of December, averaging 15.
