Phoenix squandered a first-half, double-digit lead in Saturday night’s 112-103 loss at Sacramento before a sellout crowd of 17,583 at Golden 1 Center.
"We started out good, but we've just got to sustain that lead and not get complacent," Suns guard Devin Booker said. "When you have a 15-point lead, build on it and we didn't do that."
Booker posted game-highs in points (32) and assists (10) and rookie 7-footer Deandre Ayton posted a double-double of 19 points and 11 boards to tie Alvan Adams’ rookie record of 37, but the Kings got the better of the Suns (17-57) from long range.
