When the Suns practiced on the main court of Talking Stick Resort Arena last season, the only sound passerby would hear was the bouncing of basketballs.
That is now impossible to hear over the cacophony of voices, occasionally broken up by clapping, that emits from the team on a daily basis. The subject and tone of Phoenix’s on-court conversation range from mid-scrimmage shouts to general encouragement during drills.
Brandon Knight applauds the team’s verbal improvement, especially after the lack thereof immediately after being traded to Phoenix in February.
“I think [communication] was a big issue for us last year,” Knight said.
