DALLAS – The turn of the calendar to February puts the Suns at home for all but one night of the month and provides an eight-day stretch without games during the All-Star break.
It is just the buffer that the point guard-less Suns need to provide extra recovery time for Brandon Knight and Ronnie Price.
“You bring them back for the two games we have right before the All-Star break or let them get those 10 days to recoup, too,” Hornacek said. “Most likely, I would guess maybe they’d be out through then.”
Knight did not join the four-game road trip in order to go through rehabilitation on a sports hernia, a type of groin strain.
