SAN ANTONIO – Suns point guard Ronnie Price does not take his NBA opportunity lightly as a player who has had to scrap and hustle to stay in the league for a decade.
Price brings intensity to each game like it is a tryout to keep the job no team drafted him to do. If he is not able to be that guy, then the Suns would rather wait until he can.
Price missed Wednesday night’s game at San Antonio because of a right big toe sprain and the Suns plan to hold him out again Thursday night at Oklahoma City in the hope that he can return for the trip’s next back-to-back set – Saturday at Sacramento and Sunday at the Los Angeles Lakers, two of his former teams.
