An awful Suns basketball night turned worse after the Suns learned that leading scorer and playmaker Eric Bledsoe suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee during Saturday night's home loss to Philadelphia, according to sources.
The injury is expected to require surgery that could sideline Bledsoe for several weeks or longer, depending on the course of action. Bledsoe previously tore a meniscus in his right knee and had it repaired in 2011. A surgery to remove the damaged meniscus in 2014 sidelined him for more than two months at almost the same juncture of the season as this injury.
