Less than a week before the NBA's trade deadline, the Suns still are exploring their personnel options. One player unlikely to be moved, however, is point guard Eric Bledsoe.
"We never say 'never,' but I think he's one of the least likely guys on the roster to get traded,'' Phoenix General Manager Ryan McDonough told azcentral sports Friday. "He's under contract for a couple more years after this year. More likely, we'd try to add guys in that 27-and-under age group to play with Eric and (guard) Devin (Booker) and our young core and build that way."
In his seventh season, Bledsoe, 27, is playing his best basketball, prompting many to wonder whether this is the best time to deal him.
