The Phoenix Suns finally found a rotation point guard in former Minnesota Timberwolves playmaker Monte Morris, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Tuesday shortly after the Suns officially introduced their draft choices.
It comes after they went through all of 2023-24 without one, all of the NBA Draft without selecting one, and the first 48 hours of the legal tampering period of free agency without agreeing with one.
Morris boasts an absurd assist-to-turnover ratio over five for his career and has never averaged more than one turnover per game in any season, earning him the legendary nickname of “Count of Monte Assist/TO.
