Suns' Crowder missed shots, but defense and hustle plays on target in Game 1 win

What Suns forward Jae Crowder did not provide on offense Tuesday night in Game 1, he made up for a great deal with his defense and rebounding.

Even though Crowder — the only Suns player with NBA Finals experience, from last season — managed just one single point on 0-for-8 shooting, he made an impact with nine rebounds and a plus-19 in the all-important Plus/Minus statistic that reflects how a team performed while a player was on the court.

The 19 means the Suns outscored the Milwaukee Bucks by 19 points when Crowder was on the court.
