Suns coach Earl Watson: Time to play at a higher level

Earl Watson has dribbled this path before.

As a player in 2007, he was a veteran on a young Seattle team. One that had just drafted a talented forward out of Texas named Kevin Durant. The Sonics won 20 games that season. The next year they moved to Oklahoma City and drafted a guard from UCLA named Russell Westbrook. They won 22 games.

In Year 3, something changed. Durant and Westbrook were a year older. The Thunder drafted an All-American from Arizona State named James Harden. They finished 51-31 and made the playoffs.
