Every day is not easy any longer for Tyson Chandler, but it has nothing to do with being the Suns’ oldest player, 34, or having 16 seasons of paint play on his body.
Now and then, Chandler needs a moment alone to gather the emotions of losing his mother last month, but basketball and his team’s support have been therapeutic.
“It’s gonna be tough, but it’s been as good as it can be,” Chandler said.
Chandler’s play on the court this season has not given a hint of what he was carrying during his mother’s dire health or since her death.
