Zylan Cheatham's infectious voice entered the room before he did.
"Oh yeah!" he shouted as he walked through the door Saturday. "We at the crib!"
It would have been understandable if Cheatham had been tired. He had just finished a pre-draft workout with the Suns, after landing in Phoenix about 14 hours earlier. He had a workout Friday in New Orleans. A layover in Milwaukee. The Arizona native has barely seen his family, though he's been FaceTiming them throughout the draft process.
His family has had plenty of time to watch him play in Arizona, first at South Mountain High and then last season at Arizona State.
