Strong 2nd quarter leads the Suns into a lead at halftime

Attempting to halt a current three-game losing streak, the Phoenix Suns outscored the Pistons 30-22 in the 2nd quarter to grab a 58-49 lead heading into halftime.

Without Bradley Beal and Devin Booker, the Suns have seen some impressive performances off their bench, such as Josh Okogie, Yutu Watanabe, and Drew Eubanks.

Oddly enough, the Suns hold a halftime lead despite Kevin Durant shooting 5-12 and holding a -7 while on the court.

Besides Kevin Durant with 17 points, Eric Gordan has led the scoring charge with 13 points on 6-8 shooting.

As for the Pistons, it has been Marcus Sasser off the bench playing a large role, going 3-3 on three pointers.
