Early in 2021 NBA Free Agency, Phoenix Suns fans had high hopes that four-time All-Star Paul Millsap would sign on to give the Suns some much-needed rebounding and defense at the forward position.
But the 35-year old Millsap, in the midst of a steep career decline, had other plans. Instead of getting quality money and role with a Finals team in Phoenix, he decided to take the league minimum to sign with title hopeful Brooklyn Nets instead.
