CHICAGO — Dell Curry has reopened another unfortunate Phoenix Suns wound.
During a recent interview with NBC Sports Northwest, the father of two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry recounted a conversation he had with then Golden State coach Don Nelson about drafting his son in 2009.
"I remember Don Nelson called me and said, 'Hey, what's your feelings towards (us) drafting our son?’ I said ‘Don’t,’” said the smiling elder Curry sitting in Curry’s blue No. 30 jersey beside his wife Sonya, who was wearing a white Portland No. 31 Seth Curry jersey.
